Felix’s Machines
This instrument is creating music by using small hammer-like devices called solenoids to strike percussion instruments such as the glockenspiels and drums seen here. The solenoids’ sequence is controlled via a piece of computer software, perhaps Max/MSP. I really love the idea of this, and it makes for fascinating watching/listening.
